You bought a home with a pool but you don’t know how to keep the water clean and maintain it. You should know about in ground pool maintenance, for better and safe swimming. There are few basic things which are a must known for proper maintenance, whether you use the pool or not. Pool cleaning equipments are available in wide ranges and advanced features helping it by minimizing the time, energy and money for good in ground pool maintenance. You have to know and plan the operation each day to keep the pool clean and clear.

The water can’t be cleaned over night if it is infected with germs and algae. It takes time and has to be done manually with good tools and do in ground pool maintenance, as many pool owners face the swampy black pool water, if not cleaned in the right way. Filtering is one of the main in ground pool maintenance, and has to be done with the right water filter. There are many filters you will get in the market as it serves as the basic and last thing for the water to keep the pool clean. When you are not using for swimming, have a pool cover. This will prevent the fall of dead leaves and insects fall in the water saving it from disinfection during autumn season by using leaf nets or leaf skimmers. When the season is approaching to swim back, start the operation of the in ground pool maintenance few days ahead with less effort.

To keep the pool water clean, use chemicals which are not poisonous and harmful to the health. Filtration will make the water crystal clear and green. Maintain the water balance, as it is affected by sunlight, rain, putting the disinfectant solutions, heat and dirt. Use the right hand mitt or brush for cleaning the walls of the pool. Scrubbing the walls and floors removes the dirt and germs collected and direct them to the filter or the main drain, which will suck them and helps the water to be green. Vacuum is used to pump the dead leaves and big debris which are collected in the water. In ground pool maintenance should be done very effectively. All the dirt leaves insects and debris or particles which cannot be dissolved are collected by the vacuum and sent to the filter for proper circulation of the water.

One thing that is our absolute mission at 1800Pools is to help and teach our customers how to properly take care of their swimming pool. Some tasks may be easy, but there are alot of things you can do to save you time and money. And if you’re like me, (LAZY!) you will find the quickest and most efficient way to do mundane tasks such as taking care of your pool. We have rolled out the start of a video series that will show you how all aspects of pool ownership including including reviews on swimming pool equipment.

Learning all about your swimming pool equipment is only part of what we will show you. Our video library starts out with tips on closing your pool. We just completed our above ground swimming pool closing series and will shooting our inground swimming pool closing series in just a few days. All of these tips and product knowledge come from out pool “Guri” Steve Merillat. He has been in the pool industry for 38 years and use to install and service swimming pools. These are things that he use to perform on his customers pools and come from years of experience in the field.

Steve is an encylcopedia of knowledge and I plan to pick his mind every chance I get. I will be hosting most of the videos and be the face to our company. I wanted to put myself out there and show you who I am, and how much I genuinally care and want to help all of you all. I have a swimming pool myself and use all of these technics myself. You will actually see a video shot of my actual swimming pool equipment, and see how complicated my filter, pump, and heater setup look. Well its not actually that complicated, it just looks that way.

Our swimming pool equipment tips will also spread into product reviews and the items we like and endorse. We are pool owners ourselves, and like to try out all the equipment that we sell. So expect the product review videos to be thrown into the library also as we get each one finished.

Stay tuned to our video library for updates and new swimming pool equipment tips as we film and upload them to the site. The link to the videos is at the bottom of the home page info section titled “Video Library (New!). Enjoy them as much as I have doing them.
