Earlier this year, we purchased some outdoor aluminum furniture for our outside room. It is very nice as it is painted flat and looks like the wrought iron stuff. It has cushions so it is very comfortable to sit in. Soooo comfortable each of our outside cats have a permanent spot on each cushion and have claimed there own property. Just last week, we went to look at another set for our patio, as it has nothing there right now. We were looking at all the usual stuff, like wrought iron, aluminum, PVC and we saw some nice wooden outdoor furniture made out of wicker. I sat down on one of the chairs and it was so comfortable. So that’s what we decided to purhase and that we did.

There was also some nice bamboo wooden outdoor furniture there, and it looked really nice. In fact there they had more of the bamboo type furniture than the wicker. We sat in that, but for us the wicker was just more comfortable. Personal choice I guess. I don’t know if wicker is on its way out, but we just loved the set we purchased. We also saw some Tiki tables, bar and chairs that was cool looking if you have that motif or want to place something different out on your patio or porch, but we (my wife and I) tend to be a little more conservative than that.

Well what ever type of wooden outdoor furniture you may favor, there are certainly enough choices when it comes to styles. It’s almost like walking down the cereal isle of your local supermarket. I use that reference alot.. So, enjoy the rest of your outdoor leisure time. After we eat dinner we like to sit outside and wind down. I think each of us needs to take moments out of our daily grind to pause and relax for a bit. I have not done enough of that in the past, but I have changed that habit and am doing so now.
