Hey Gang.. Its getting cooler.. bummer huh? We are going to hold out on closing our pool as late as possible this year as the summer hasn’t been ideal this year. The beginning of the season was cooler than normal, and we had more share of rain in the beginning then hoped for. But we had a great July and August. So not its September and I am waiting until the leaves start falling this year to close the pool. I still want to enjoy our outdoor living as long as I can.. And now it’s time to think about gas patio heaters.

Heat, heat, heat.. I love it.. We hang out on the cooler nights on our patio and gaze at the stars. Actually when it’s cold I take the telescope out and look at them also. Winter is the best time to do this as the colder air tends to reduce the haze. Looking at Saturn’s rings or Jupiter’s moons is really cool. As I have let all of you know in previous posts, I tend to be as lazy as I can with regards to my down time, and it’s no exception here. To prove that, I have one of those telescopes that you just set it up, and it does a tour of the skies for you.. Once I do this, I set up my two gas patio heaters and watch. Told you…

Here is what Rene La Cape from Backyard Fire Pits and More has to say about gas patio heaters,

“One of the smartest thing you do should be buying outdoor heaters. They are certainly worth the money even though the sum is not that big at all. The heaters will give you warmth and comfort in your very own backyard. It’s better and more manageable than a bonfire. Smoke free and best of all, cleaning is simply a breeze. You can get on with your activities in the backyard and completely forget about the heaters and will never ever have to worry about it catching fire.

With gas patio heaters, there will be less emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Styles and design are diverse. You can choose any you like and will certainly find one that is the most suitable to your patio.

Do you find yourself particularly miserable when its winter? You can change your cold days with warmth and celebration in your very own backyard. You can install an outdoor gas heater today and feel the difference. More and more people are enjoying the benefits of a gas patio heaters. You should too.”

Enjoy your cooler days and night with the warmth you can obtain with one of the many cool gas patio heaters that are available.

There are a huge variety of outdoor patio heaters on the market today. What started as probably wood turned into gas and electric including infrared patio heaters. Which one is best? There are no clear cut choices. It all depends on location, preference, and budget. My favorite? well since i the laziest person when I take a chance to relax, for me it is infrared patio heaters.

Infrared patio heaters use the same technology as infrared saunas. They produce maximum heat in a matter of seconds, and are usually produce heat at around 90% efficiency and above. They are convenient because they require no fuel tank changes as gas models do, and they are as easily placed and operated as simply plugging them in. My kind of appliance…lol

Some of the unique features of infrared patio heaters is that they don’t actually heat the air, but objects and people directly. And because of that, their ability to heat is not effected by any type of winds. They product no UV rays, so their operation is silent. They require extremely low maintenance and only require a lamp change around every 5000 hours. And since they are so efficient with heating objects and not air, the added benefit is they generally use a 1/10th the energy costs as their LPG cousins. Nice….

In an article from Coleman Patio Heaters, their take on them are….

“Infrared Patio Heaters provide a combo of both classic elements and aluminum components that are blended into a modern safety oriented unit. Its classic finishing texture enhance the beauty of an outdoor setting. It works effectively with infrared radiant heat, and does not consume any energy for heating. An Outdoor Patio Heater is designed with a weather resistant construction by applying antique bronze polyurethane powder coat, which is applied electro statically. From the vast range of Outdoor Patio Heaters you can select a Natural Gas Outdoor Patio Heater, Table Top Patio Heater, and of course, Infrared Outdoor Patio Heater.”

Additionally…

“Firstly, Natural Gas Outdoor Patio Heaters can be used at home, on the deck, around the pool, or in outdoor dining space. They provide clean, draft-free circle of radiant heat. This unit is easily movable, has a hook up, and a better storage facility within the unit. Secondly, a Table Top Patio Heater is the perfect match for your outdoor space. It is a self contained, portable unit that works for two to three hours at a stretch, depending on its output setting. A Table Top Patio Heater comes with an advanced burner technology. Lastly, an Infrared Outdoor Patio Heater is an efficient unit that helps meeting with the winter evenings.”

Infrared patio heaters are a very popular choice to heat your outdoor living areas because of their simplicity and convenience. Look into on of the may models and styles available today…
