Pool Safety Alarms: Finding the one for you
Safety is every mother’s concern and I think it very well should be. If you have kids you should definitely childproof your house. Start with your table’s edges, automatic door closers, cabinet doors, drawers, and not to forget… swimming pools.
Call me obsessive compulsive but when I found out I was pregnant I went through our house with a fine-toothed comb, checking every nook and cranny for possible “child-accident-waiting-to-happen piece of furniture or appliance. My husband was looking at me funny when I went down on my knees to crawl on our floor. Hey, I wanted to see if it would be too slippery for a child. Part of the experiment was also to find out which piece of furniture needed bumper guards, or which room a baby or a crawling child would most likely go to (hint: the room with the most number of things).
