Portable Hot Tubs
Portable hot tubs are a great way to enjoy the relaxing benefits of a regular sized hot tub at a fraction of the cost. Portable meaning that it can be moved easily from one location to the other. There are inflatable and non-inflatable hot tubs, and this is what we will talk about today.
Inflatable portable hot tubs are great way to enjoy a relaxing end of the day. They are completely self-contained and usually plug in to a standard 115v outlet. They also are great for vacation getaways because they can be deflated and packed up in a relatively small space to carry. Generally these types of inflatable hot tubs run anywhere between $700-$1500 which is a reasonable cost for a hot tub.
What is cheap? In an excerpt from HotTubSaleOnline they state,
“Eight hundred dollars may not sound cheap to you, but as it relates to portable hot tubs, it is rather inexpensive and considered by a lot of people to be a good price. These cheap soft portable hot tubs are made from a plastic, soft material that is inflated and then filled with water. The material is durable and cannot be easily punctured during use. Also included with the portable hot tub are a heater and a kit of chemicals to maintain the pH balance in the water. In general, a cover for the portable hot tub is included as well.”
Non-inflatable portable hot tubs cannot be carried to your favorite vacation spot, but they are also completely self-contained and usually plug into the same 115v outlet as your inflatables. These type of hot tubs are generally larger than the inflatables and can hold up to 6-8 people generally as apposed to 1-2 as with the inflatable types. These can be a great choice for people that do not have the normal space or hook up availability. Generally these types run around $2000-$4000 in purchase costs.
Another excerpt from HotTubSaleOnline about these types of portable hot tubs
“On the other hand, the average price for a portable hot tub that is brand new is around two thousand dollars and have a variety of different options. Two thousand dollars may sound like a lot of money, however it is nothing compared to the price range of ten to twenty thousand dollars that some of the deluxe models can cost today. These cheap portable hot tubs also come with all of the materials needed to get started and are usually constructed of a more solid material such as a hard plastic.”
With so many choices in portable hot tubs, you can enjoy the benefits today at a reasonable price that you could not do 10 years ago.
