How to Clean The Pool Liner Of Your In Ground Pool

Here are the steps involved in cleaning your pool liner:
- Drain the Pool Water- Before you start with cleaning up the liner, it is important that the pool should be drained first. This will allow you to thoroughly clean the whole liner without missing any part.
- Remove the Pool Liner- Once the pool has been completely drained, the liner of your in ground pool should be removed. You can do this by following the instructions in your swimming pool manual which has been supplied to you by the manufacturer. - Scrub the Pool Liner- Make use of a soft scrubbing scrub and a mild cleanser so that you can clean the pool liner. Do this in small portions while you rinse away the cleanser with water through a garden hose. Avoid rough scrubbing as it can tear the liner. Rinse the entire pool liner again after you have scrubbed it.
- Dry the Pool Liner- Before installing back the liner onto the pool, it should be thoroughly dried out. This can be done with the use of paper towels or a clean rag. You can also make use of a small submersible pump by attaching it onto the drain hose and putting it in the middle of the pool.
- Refill the Pool- After you remove the submersible pump, you can then start refilling your pool with water. Allow your pool filter to run for two days before you the needed chemicals onto the pool and before you start swimming again.
In order to guarantee that the lifespan of your pool liner can be used to its full potential, it is important that the pH level of your pool water should only be between 7.4 and 7.6. If the water’s pH level is above the normal, the water of your pool is too acidic. This will eventually eat its way through your pool liner and will require you to replace it later on.
