Infrared Patio Heaters
There are a huge variety of outdoor patio heaters on the market today. What started as probably wood turned into gas and electric including infrared patio heaters. Which one is best? There are no clear cut choices. It all depends on location, preference, and budget. My favorite? well since i the laziest person when I take a chance to relax, for me it is infrared patio heaters.
Infrared patio heaters use the same technology as infrared saunas. They produce maximum heat in a matter of seconds, and are usually produce heat at around 90% efficiency and above. They are convenient because they require no fuel tank changes as gas models do, and they are as easily placed and operated as simply plugging them in. My kind of appliance…lol
Some of the unique features of infrared patio heaters is that they don’t actually heat the air, but objects and people directly. And because of that, their ability to heat is not effected by any type of winds. They product no UV rays, so their operation is silent. They require extremely low maintenance and only require a lamp change around every 5000 hours. And since they are so efficient with heating objects and not air, the added benefit is they generally use a 1/10th the energy costs as their LPG cousins. Nice….
