The Many Uses of a Pool Noodle
Who would have thought “noodles” will be ending up in the pool? Back in my days pool noodles were unheard of. The only floatation device we do know and use are round in shape and looks more like a doughnut than a floatation device. Or maybe I was just always hungry so I kept on associating pool noodles with ramen, Phad Thai and egg noodles, and a floatation device with a doughnut rather than the interior of an old tire (Yes, I am that old).

Shopping for Pool Accessories
Building a swimming pool in your own backyard may seem to get more complicated when it comes to choosing pool accessories. More often than not your local pool salesman will offer so many different products that get you more confused with your choices. It is because salesmen have their own sales agenda which may not be in line with your goal of getting the best pool accessories for your swimming pool at home.
When shopping for pool accessories, try to think about buying furniture and appliances for the house. Everything will revolve around a working budget. This could be your budget for all pool accessories and maintenance as well. It can be quite challenging for a pool owner to mix budget, function and form.

Above Ground Pool Ladders: Climb your way to pool fun
The popularity of above ground swimming pools for home recreational and fitness activities is undeniable. The relatively lower cost of this type of pool has steered homeowners into this option rather than installing an in ground swimming pool. Aside from the cost advantage, above ground pools can be moved from one place to another and require only a few hours to install. For less cost, you still get the same kind of fun and enjoyment during swimming season.

Ensuring that Your Swimming Pool Water is Safe
Would you drink your swimming pool water? I don’t think so. I wouldn’t. I think nobody in his or her right mind would. My toddler would though. Of course we all know that he is not yet in his “right mind” given that he’s only 2 years old, so he’s excused.
He has “tasted” his bathwater, the water coming from our garden hose, water from the tap, water in a bucket I was using to wash the car and water in a basin I was using to rinse the delicates I was hand-washing. He would even open his mouth to catch the water coming out of a water fountain.

The Importance of Pool Fences Should Not Be Left Unnoticed
Based on the 2001 reports, over 850 children have drowned in swimming pools. For this reason, drowning is considered as the second leading reason for the death of children aged 5-14 years old. The reason for these unfortunate accidents is because the children who had been victims have been left unattended. Also, these swimming pools do not have pool fences which will help make sure that people are safe.
