Tis the Season to be Jolly, Especially When You Have a Pre Lit Christmas Tree…
It’s Black Friday, and my wife and I ventured out to stand in line at a ridiculously early time of the morning. There were tons of people out just like us, so there was a certain comradery out there, which was kind of cool. We were able to pick up a few items that was on our shopping list. One thing on our list was a pre lit Christmas tree, which we did not get. We saw one, but it wasn’t of great quality. Now I don’t mind getting a bargain, but not a cheap looking Christmas tree.

Patio Heater Covers
Its almost that time of year where we all close up outside and put away all of our outdoor furniture and accessories. Most people though, as I keep my outdoor stuff out until the middle of winter. Call me weird… But what I would like to talk about today is patio covers, specifically patio heater covers.
Many people do not even bother with covering up their outdoor furniture. Lots of times they will just stack all the pieces up outside at one corner of the patio, or will cover each individually. When I finally get around to closing everything up, I take all my outdoor furniture and store it in the shed. but I leave the heaters out and cover them up with patio heater covers. Call me weird again.

What Type of Above Ground Pool Filter is Best?
This is a question that we get asked often by our customers. There is really no strait answer on this as all three types, sand, DE and cartridge pool filters do a admirable job.В Lets break it down and look at all three for the pros and cons with regards to an above ground pool filter.
The sand above ground pool filter has been around for a long time and are relatively easy to maintain. The require to be back-washed several times a year during the season. They do not use regular sand like you find on a ocean front beach, but a extremely fine sand. They do a great job and are similarly priced against DE filters. The filter media, (sand) stays inside the housing and can last for several years before needing to be changed.

What to Look For in Pool Equipment Suppliers
There are absolutely TONS of pool equipment suppliers out there. One can go for the best price, which can be a good thing…right?
I learned a valuable lesson a couple of years ago. I was looking for some light fixtures for my house. I knew what brand and style I wanted… so I went shopping on the shopping comparison engines. Like with most products, there were a lot of suppliers out there selling the exact item I wanted. I just went for the cheapest price..and didn’t even think about the store I was buying it from. No problem right?В WRONG.. and this is why I am talking to you and how it relates to pool equipment suppliers.

Christmas Tree Ornament Sets
There are only 42 days left until Christmas Day. Holy cow, where did this year go?? Black Friday and Cyber Monday are soon approaching and I am sure my significant other will be dragging me out with her at 4:00am to make sure we get a good position in line. Other than loosing a little sleep, I really don’t mind going out with her. She really likes the thrill, and that why I enjoy it, cause she does. And every year she looks through a few Christmas tree ornament sets and picks out one to purchase.
